Dera Sacha Sauda: Guru Speak- Spend Your Time in noble Deeds

Today the purpose life is to attain physical comforts and make the family happy. Towards the attainment of this, man takes recourse to lying, cheating, blasphemy, dishonesty, bribe seeking and corruption. Lies are repeated reflexly everyday, religion is something to swear by but never to be adhered to and man remains adamant. Man gets so engrossed in worldly pursuits that he cares for nothing. Man dreams of riches and palaces, flying in an aeroplane, but when he opens his eyes; then he is still on the same old cot. So , the way man strives day and night, struggling, is quite like the ants that leave the anthill and are always on the run; the same way that bees make their hive. But in the end the honey is snatched by some one else. Similarly, man stoops to lowly deeds in this kaliyuga. Accumulates wealth, houses and properties from the wages of sin- but the end result is that he leaves everything here and departs from this world. Isn’t this the strange story of human being? Childhood in reckless pleasures; and when the family deems appropriate to restrain then the person is married off. When children are born, there are celebratory drum beats, but, when they grow up, leave aside drums, one cannot even clap to drive away the flies!
The entire day is consumed in worries, where will the money come from, how to earn, how to deposit in bank accounts, this way, that way. Some are steeped in sinful habits till old age- dripping with bad habits like vermin. They are unconcerned about their age fallen in the abyss of sin, limitlessly. It is like reading a book, we read them with great joy and once it is read & we are through. It is over and forgotten, who will read it over and over again, it is tucked away somewhere. Similarly, the chapter of life also comes to an end, the spark is extinguished and the family members plonk you below( on the ground) from the cot.Man sees this and yet does not realize the higher truths. Till such time that the soul inhabits the human body everyone respects it. Later, the cadaver doesn’t even get a proper set of clothes. There is one cremation place, a platform. That is where it ends, the ashes swept away, the next cadaver comes and so on.
This is how life goes on. Those who come depart and those who exist shall more on one day to their end. But no human being bothers that why life should not be lived in such a way that if enlightens people for generations to come. Therefore, it is important to perform noble deeds so that the coming generations remember you with respect.
