Dera Sacha Sauda organizing Blood Donation Drive

Dera Sacha Sauda, a Social Welfare & Spiritual Organization will be organizing blood donation camp in Australia on 10th August, 2014. The blood donation drive will be conducted by Dera Followers who dedicatedly participate in the welfare programs organized by Dera Sacha Sauda. The organization supports as well as addresses the various causes that are of concern worldwide.
The last three largest blood donation drives in the world were also from Dera Sacha Sauda. Motivated and spurred by Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, on 7th December 2003, Dera Sacha Sauda followers donated 15,432 units of blood to 56 participating blood banks. On 10th October 2004, this record was surpassed to 17,921 units and on 8th August, 2010 a new Guinness World Record was established when Dera members volunteered to donate 43,732 units of blood, thereby rewriting history. Dera Sacha Sauda(Project) is also a largest blood donor agency for the Indian Armed Forces since May 2006. This is also nick named a mobile blood pump as there are a quarter of million regular donors fully committed to this noble cause.
Donating(Eye) blood is a social responsibility and a healthy practice. Dera Sacha Sauda encourages people to donate blood and contribute towards saving lives. The upcoming blood donation drive in Australia is expected to show up increased number of blood donors.
