Dera Sacha Sauda: Coastal Cleanup Drive in San Francisco

Exhibiting the true service, Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers are conducting the 3rd Annual Coastal Clean-up campaign in San Francisco, California, USA on 20th September 2014.The event is organized every year, on the third Saturday in September. People join together at sites all over California to take part in California Coastal Cleanup Day which is the State’s largest volunteer event. Individuals of all age groups could participate in the event which will begin at 9 am.
The supplies like trash and recycling bags, gloves, data cards, pencils, and waivers will be provided to the volunteers at the site and the volunteers could bring from home, reusable cleanup supplies, like a bucket or bag and work gloves.
Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers always act as a helping hand to the diminishing nature through conducting such events. Apart from this, they also undertake 100 different kinds of welfare activities across the globe. This is all because of the pious teachings and the spirit of selfless service filled into the hearts of these volunteers by Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. Even the geographical boundaries could not bound the zeal of Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers who last year too participated in the drive and the California coastline was cleaned up in just 4 hours removing almost 750,000 pounds of trash and recyclables from California’s beaches, lakes, and waterways.
