After rock music, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the head of religious sect Dera Sacha Sauda, is all set to make his debut in films. The 47-year-old dera chief is currently busy shooting for a Hindi movie that has him in the lead.

The film, whose title is yet to be made public, is expected to hit the theatres in January next year, sources in the dera said. They said it will be a mix of spirituality and entertainment, with a social message at the end. It will also cover several social initiatives in which the dera is involved, they said.
